US Sailing News for SAYRA

US Sailing's US Adult Championship for the Clifford D. Mallory Trophy

This year's championship will be sailed inJ/70s. The regatta will be held at St. Petersburg YC, Nov. 9-12, 2017. A new twist this year; the winner will be theUS representative at the Sailing Champions League World qualifier.To be considered, you must submit your sailing resume to SAYRA.LINK Herefor details. SAYRA is now a Partner in US Sailing's MVP Program

Use this to get a discount on your US Sailing membership!($10 discount for individuals, $5 discount for youths, $15 discount for families.)If your club does not participate in the MVP (Member Value Partner) program, you can join or renew through SAYRA. In addition to discounted US Sailing membership, you will be helping SAYRA to earn credits that can be used to defray the cost of a number of US Sailing activities (especially our attendance at the US Sailing Leadership Forum or National Sailing Programs Symposium). 2018 Sailing Leadership Forum

It is not too early to start planning for the Sailing Leadership Forum! In 2018, the event will be held February 1-3, at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort on St. Pete Beach, FL. The information shared at this major conference can be invaluable to your club--not to mention the connections you can make, with sailors, trainers, and coaches. Add it to your club calendar, and be sure to include in your 2018 planning and budget.(And if your club is an MVP program Partner, remember that you can use MVP credits to cover some or all of your conference registration fee.) SAYRA Jr. Series GRAND PRIXis under way first of 6 events was held at Atlanta YC April 29-30. Great event with great support from Zim Sailing, GILL, US Sailing and all the friendly volunteers at AYC. Check out the Series schedule at link.
